When and why did you start playing? Every DJ on our team has a minimum of 10 years experience making people dance. Every one started solely because of our love for music. Which famous musicians do you admire? Why? This is a big one. My most admirable musicians are DJ Kool Herc and Grandmaster Flash because they are 2 of the founders of Hip Hop Were you influenced by old records & tapes? Which ones? Old school music is my absolute favorite. Basically anything from the 80s Have you been in competitions? Fleadh’s? Any prizes? Many of our DeeJays have been in competitions across the USA and have come in first place. Do you perform in public? Describe those occasions? Yes we DJ in clubs/bars, private parties and weddings How do you feel about the internet in the music business? The internet is the best thing to happen for artists because it connects the world together. Only now can you connect with a producer across the world and produce a song without even meeting a person. What are the plans for the future? Indy DJ Connect is a new company, but some our Deejays have been playing for over 30 years… Our #1 goal is to be the largest DJ company in the state of Indiana.
