Behind The Boards sits Curtis L Brantley Jr Professionally known in the music industry as $ECK! (pronounced seck). $eck! is an American Producer of Hip hop, Pop and R&B who was born and raised in Valdosta, Ga. $eck!’s journey in the business came full circle from his childhood dreams of creating music sparked by hearing the sounds of Jermaine Dupri. He didn’t just listen to the music, he always wanted to know everything about records he liked from the artists, producers and any sales data or interesting facts.
The first big record came from working with an artist on his managers label. The manager heard the track and said “Whoa, Nsjae’ will smash that”. $eck! got the track sent over and by the time it was done, it became a successfully hot record that is gained more plays each day. The record is called “Stay Weird Stay Free” by Nsjae’ produced by $eck! (ProdBy$eck! at the time). The follow up single with Nsjae’ is called “Senses” which is available on all music streaming platforms.
The Stay Weird Stay Free record opened up the doors to reach out more and $eck! has since recorded with quality artists. $eck! had come to a point where he was able to hear an artist and pick the perfect track. He started searching and now has records with R&B artists from Atlanta, Los Angeles and New York and the feedback on these records have been almost perfect.

This journey has been a long time coming and will be continued!
